About School
ABOUT US : AN OVERVIEW Education as planned during British period had been primarily a government activity, supplemented by aided schools financed by generous donors, and Public Schools run by the elites exclusively for their children. A few decades after independence, academic revolution took place in the form of self financed schools for masses.
At this juncture Sri Jai Pal Singh, a philanthropist, patriot and educationist, conceived of schools founded on the ideals of patriotism and humanism, imparting comprehensive education to masses at very moderate fees which the middle class and lower middle class parents could easily afford. His dream born in 1970 with one school has grown up as a vast edifice of 10 schools functioning in their own permanent buildings. Six of them are affiliated to CBSE Delhi, one to CISCE, New Delhi and other three are recognized by Department of Education, U.P. Government. The special characteristic of these schools is high continuity and permanence of staff. Barring a few who left for their personal reasons such as marriage, all who joined once, became integrated with the institution and have continued for 20 to 35 years in most cases. The same is true about students. Those, who joined this institution, continued their uninterrupted education till they passed out class XII. Consequently, the institution has evolved a personality of its own where the newcomers are absorbed as integral component. The sense of belongingness to the institution, mutual love and confidence make this a different institution, an ideal in its own way. The CBSE Examination Results have been outstanding. Score of 100% in Maths, Chemistry, Accountancy, Hindi, Business Studies, Informatics Practices, Computer Science and 95% and above in other individual subjects and aggregate has become a tradition. The institution made a major contribution to Residential Schools by sending brilliant though poor students through National Entrance Examination. From 11 students in 1983 when the scheme started, to 125 in 1991 when the scheme was dropped, the institution contributed more than 600 students to Residential Schools. It is through this scheme that Param Vir Chakra Awardee, Kargil Martyr Amar Shaheed Captain Manoj Kumar Pandey the son of middle class family, got admission in Sanik School, Lucknow, rose to be a Captain and laid his life on the altar of motherland in Kargil War. Emphasis is laid on Co-curricular Activities as well. Youth Parliament Competition is held every year. Annual Academic Inter School Competitions in languages (spoken and written), Maths, Art and science/Social Studies, Computer Science on one hand and in Annual Games and Sports Inter School Competitions on the other, are organized on a large scale. In cultural programmes on National festivals and Annual Day, our students have always been excelling.

Vision and Leadership
School Vision

The vision that you glorify in your mind, the ideal that you enthrone in your heart, this you will build your life by, and this you will become. This is what the Founder Manager Sri Jai Pal Singh, a man of versatile temperament, exemplary character, a great educationist and a prolific social worker, had in mind when he laid the foundation of Rani Laxmi Bai Memorial Group Of Schools in 1970. Being a dedicated patriot and a confident leader, he is always enthusiastic about his work or cause. His selfless service and active participation in social organizations, by reaching the doorsteps of the community, and dealing with the noble and elevated work of providing opportunities to the homeless, downtrodden and destitute of the society, is widely acknowledged. Time stands testimony to the fact that since then the institution has grown up to become a huge edifice of 10 schools with an unbelievable strength.
The purpose of education at Rani Laxmi Bai Memorial Group of Schools is that all our girls and boys receive an excellent academic education and at the same time to culture the mind of a child so that he can accomplish all his aims in life, to be an integrated individual. A person imbued with feelings of patriotism, love for motherland, will definitely capable of dealing with life as a whole and learn the lesson of humanity.

A dedicated Educationist & Philanthropist dreaming of a glorious country built by patriotic students through excellent education imbibing moral and national values “Nurturing Values and strong patriotic Zeal with global vision in the child from each strata of society.” I consider myself a blessed one as God kindled in my heart the flame of motivation to choose the noble sphere of education as my career and spirit to work with full commitment to this noblest cause. My concept of an ideal school is where value based education is given key emphasis, where modernity is combined with respect for tradition, knowledge with humility, competitiveness with simplicity and strong patriotic zeal with global vision besides academic excellence. It gives me immense pleasure to observe that a small temple of learning founded in 1970 with meagre resources and modest strength of 112 students has grown up to be a huge edifice of ten schools rendering invaluable service to a large section of society. With full faith in comprehensive and holistic approach, education in schools run by Rani Laxmi Bai Memorial Society is considered not a final goal in itself but the strongest medium of guiding our future citizens. Thereby empowering them with academic excellence, intellectual and practical skills, keen desire of learning and innovation, self motivation to excel in all spheres of life and moulding them into fully sensitized ; aware individuals who are adaptable, responsive to fast changing needs of time and fully capable of giving their contribution in diverse spheres at all possible levels. By the grace of God, competence and dedication of Principals and staff and cooperation of parents, this cherished dream is being visualized. Though the final destination is still far, we are proud that we are steadily striding in the right direction. I extend my sincerest regards and gratitude to all the esteemed members of the inspection panel – Dr.G.S.Srivastava & Dr. Jamuna Rai, retired Assistant Commissioners from K.V.Sangathan and Sri S.N.Singh, Sri A.K Rastogi & Sri U.S Garg,& Sri S.M. Dixit, Principals from KendriyaVidyalayas. This galaxy of highly dynamic experienced intellectuals has contributed immeasurably to the qualitative progress of the institution. These mentors have illumined our path with their brilliance and enabled our dedicated teaching fraternity to realize our noble dream of providing excellent education to this extent. I am also very much proud of our ex-student Param Vir Chakra Awardee Captain Manoj Kumar Pandey whose supreme sacrifice has become a great source of inspiration to all our students.
