We are the first and only school in PCMC to freeze our fee structure until 2023. Features: Dnyanshanti School is a proposed three section school . Each section from grade I to III will have 2 teachers and from grade IV onwards every two sections will have an assistant teacher. This teacher pupil ratio will ensure that no child is left behind and every child gets individual attention. Academic Program: DYPDSS aspires to stand out as a differentiator in the education scape of PCMC by providing very unique methodology of teaching. The school follows the curriculum and pedagogy as prescribed by the CBSE but goes way beyond it in terms of classroom delivery and content. Virtual School During these testing times we have not let our students feel left out. When the lock down was declared and we realized that schools were not going to be functioning for an indefinite period we immediately took to online lessons via Zoom and then MS Teams. Both students and teachers have adapted to technology seamlessly. In addition to academic subjects there is Art, Music (Indian & Western) Drama & Life Skills being conducted online. During the summer break, realizing that students would be confined to their homes we organized a virtual summer camp and talent hunt. There was an overwhelming response across grades. Even our nursery students surprised us. The school has also arranged for a weekly class with the counselor so that students got a chance to speak up if they were facing any issues. The counselor makes it a point to engage with students individually in case she feels there is a problem. We all are aware, that every child is a powerhouse of talent. In order to boost their hidden talents, we also planned several activities under the CCA banner. We are waiting for schools to reopen physically so that students can enjoy the fabulous infrastructure and facilities as well as the company of classmates and teachers. Mrs.Geeta Prakash Pillai is the Principal of DY Patil Dnyanshanti School. She is an Academician & Administrator with close to 20 years experience .She has a 13 year stint with one of the leading CBSE schools in Wakad to her credit.She joined as a teacher and went on to be the Chief Executive Principal of the School. She began her teaching career with her Alma Mater- St.Ursula’s High School Nigdi. She has also fulfilled the role of centre superintendent and observer for various prestigious exams conducted by CBSE. Some of them being the UGC (NET), JEE, Navodaya & NEET. The latest feather in her cap was being the City Co-ordinator for the NEET (UG) 2018. A role that she enjoys tremendously is being Master Trainer with CBSE. She has also been a member of the inspection committee for the affiliation of four CBSE schools. She is a Post graduate in History from the Pune University and B.ed from Tilak College of Education,Pune. She has an enviable academic record with distinction and first class throughout her academic career. She is passionate about children and school education. Her aim is to ensure that every student and staff member looks forward to coming to school. It is her constant endeavour to build student self-esteem and encourage understanding of cultural diversity, gender differences and physical limitations.
