It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Loyola International School community. This is a school where we are deeply committed to ensure that every day becomes meaningful for the child, that each and every student should receive something before he/ she leaves the school premises at home time. I can’t see them going empty-handed . The school is imparting education in Commerce and Science streams at present while planning to introduce Humanities in the future. The traditional view of "Spare the rod and spoil the child", is put aside and we strive to maintain discipline within the periphery of liberty and work to foster a school environment that is congenial to both children and staff Our school mission, in essence, identifies our focus as LIS enables the development of the skills, knowledge, values and attributes needed for: ¨ Lifelong learning ¨ Community service and ¨ Global citizenship This is accomplished through various educational programs— by having personal teaching, challenging academic and extracurricular experiences, guidance and counselling sessions, career talks, school excursions, global development programs, culture exchange programs, self defence training and many others. Not only do our students demonstrate excellent academic progress and achievements but also, while at LIS, they become grounded in the important qualities of integrity, leadership, adaptability, resilience, and true compassion for others. I am inspired by the possibilities that exist for our schools this year and in the years to come. Whether you are new to Loyola International School or have been a part of our community for some time, please accept my invitation to participate with us as we prepare our students for the future.

"Laugh and grow strong." -- St. Ignatius of Loyola Here's to all my dear ones: those who have already moved out to see this world, those who are preparing to do so and those who are yet to join us! I know I have been telling these same things to you, over and over again, possibly boring you to death...but i believe in them with all my heart... therefore today too..and sorry if you get a sense of deja-vu. It's very important for you to realise and remember that YOU are destined for GREAT things. What you learned here is just a start. There is a world of learning, yet ahead. That being said, on a more serious note, I emphasize on loving life and enjoying every bit of it. The lessons will come in time. I guess what I am saying is, "Be carefree; but carefully." Trusting you will remember and cherish memories of your school and teachers and will carry them wherever you go. Remember, your words will be my words, your actions will be my actions, your failures and successes will be my failures and successes. I will always be in you. A word to my teachers too: we are bound to provide an atmosphere for discovery, where students are encouraged to be creative and curious. We are thus, devoted to preparing our students for life. Your efforts have been commendable so far. Keep up the good work. I would like to end with the words of Robert Southey: 'Yet leaving here a name, I trust, That will not perish In the dust.'
