The solution to two of the most pressing problems of our country -overpopulation and poverty, lies in education. This thought led us to a challenging yet exciting journey in the creation of Wisdom World Schools. We realised that we need rigorous reforms in school education in terms of curriculum, pedagogy, governance, technology, and infrastructure. With that, began our ambitious journey to create a top ICSE school in Pune - our flagship school — Wisdom World School, Wakad. Our fantastic ICSE results of our first batch of students and the encouragement received by the community of happy parents, inspired us to create a chain of schools of the same quality standards hence giving birth to Wisdom World School, Hadapsar in 2015. With this vision Vishwakarma Purple Educational Trust brings to its students a perfect amalgamation of high standards of education and infrastructure.

Principal

Mrs. Amita Seth

Mrs. Amita Seth has completed her schooling from leading Convent of Jesus and Mary schools in Mumbai. She has completed her post-graduation, M.Sc. in Life Sciences from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai and her B.Ed. from Xavier’s Academy, Mumbai. She is also a double post graduate with an M.Ed. degree from Tilak College, Pune. Mrs. Seth has 29 years of teaching experience and has been associated with various Boards- like the SSC State Board, the ICSE National Board and also international curricula like the IB and IGCSE. Mrs. Seth has authored three textbooks in Biology for the ICSE curriculum for Stds. 6, 7 and 8. In her role as a teacher, she has received several awards of Best Teacher and Teacher of the Year in the schools that she has taught in. She has been instrumental in leading remedial teaching in Small Group Instruction to students who need help beyond the classroom. She believes in the wholistic development of every individual. Children being soft and mouldable like clay are perfect to work on. She believes teachers, parents and the community must work in tandem to transform children into agile, empathetic, creative and contributing citizens.
