My dream to start a school in Pune bore fruit in April 2015. Having seen my mother create an institution like The Shri Ram Schools in Delhi, I wanted to follow in her footsteps and establish a similar educational institute in Pune. The Kalyani School provides a child-centric and loving atmosphere and I can proudly say that our students truly love coming to school. During this journey there have been many challenges and many obstacles, but we have learnt from all of them and have come out stronger and better. The credit for the immense success of the school goes to our Principal, Mrs. Waddan and her team of vice-principals, coordinators and teachers, who give their heart and soul to the school on a daily basis. Our staff is very hardworking and passionate and they have given their best to create a safe and joyful environment for our students. As a school, we strongly believe in investing in our teachers, and hence we do several training workshops throughout the year to help our teachers hone their skills, to upgrade their knowledge and to learn the best teaching practices possible. These workshops not only build stronger teachers, they also refresh their minds and give them a chance to innovate in the classroom. The Kalyani School provides world-class infrastructure – airy, well-furnished classrooms, multiple activity rooms, fantastic sports facilities, and multi-purpose halls. The students have benefitted from these resources and have shone in many inter-school sports and co-curricular competitions. I am sure that given these opportunities, our students will continue to bring many laurels to our school. Personally, I am very satisfied with what we have accomplished so far, with all the achievements of our students and teachers. But the journey has just begun, and there is still a long road to travel. I am looking forward to seeing the school grow from strength to strength.

Dear Parents / Guardians, “I have a dream….” This was the opening line of the world famous speech by Dr. Martin Luther King, who had dreamt of a just and kind world. I have a dream too. I dream of a school which will be recognised as a beacon in the field of teaching-learning processes, student-teacher relationships and their well-being. Keeping that in mind, we have created a safe – social, emotional and physical environment that helps all our students to learn and succeed. The Kalyani School is growing every day; but we have never ignored the importance of developing and maintaining positive relationships with each student, as an individual. The teachers and Management are constantly striving to provide more personal support and greater access to opportunities, in each student’s chosen fields of interest. Parents and visitors compliment us on the warm ambience and orderly school atmosphere and our strong sense of community. Our students have a strong sense of self- respect, which is complemented by their respect for others around them. They voluntarily work for the community, which is an expression of our Core Values- Equity, Dignity, Empathy and Responsibility. Our students enjoy coming to school, even after long vacations, because here we provide them with engagement and enjoyment; food for their heart and soul. We have brought in a broad range of opportunities and pathways in our Senior Secondary Grades too. Our approach involves working with parents to meet the individual needs of every student, and supporting them to fulfil their academic and co-curricular goals and dreams. Our three-way handshake has worked wonders over the past few years, and the bond is growing stronger with every passing day. There is a genuine sense of intimacy amongst teachers, students and parents, which we are all very proud of. This is a tough world; but it is a world that rewards perseverance, resilience, initiative, problem-solving and cooperation. It is a genuine pleasure to see our children grow up well-rounded, and well-prepared for such a world, under the guidance of a strong, dedicated and capable team of educators, who have become the driving force in the growth of the School. For an upcoming school, it gives me immense pleasure to share with you, the repertoire of achievements, which have been the awards conferred upon us by renowned educational forums. It is rightly said that, “A dream becomes a goal, when action is taken towards its achievement,” and I can proudly say that, we are committed in taking constructive and purposeful actions to produce optimistic, independent, compassionate, life-long learners and leaders, who will bring glory to the School, State and the Nation.
