G.I.S (GURUKULA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL) was established in 1980. GIS is one of the premier educational institutions in Karnataka State, serving the cause of education at all levels from Nursery to Tenth Standard in both English and Kannada medium at 9thcross, Magadi Road, Bangalore city. We are able to get 100% result in SSLC Board Examination in the last academic year because of the efforts of our teaching staff and by this we promise to get the best. The founders of the Institution and other who succeeded them for decades were eminent educationists, distinguished personalities and philanthropic minded persons who have a solid foundation and nurtured it to grow phenomenally to the present stature by their ceaseless efforts under trying circumstances with commendable Dedication, Determination, Optimistic and Indomitable Courage. The successive managing committee members including the present team have shaped the institution to the existing gigantic position. Beginning with small number of 60 students in 1980, the school has grown with more than 2000 students. Having served for 38 years in the field of education. The institutions are independently managed and have an excellent track record in the field of academic sports, Culture and various other activities. The institution is given the best infrastructure with an urge to provide quality education to students at all levels.

Completed MA. B.Ed., from Mysore University In the year 1979. Joined Bapuji Independence P.U. College Magadi Road, Bangalore in the year 1980 as a Lecturer and then worked as a Principal till 2006.
