Dear students and families, Welcome to Preston International Academy ! “The mind is not a vessel to be filled but a fire to be kindled,” are the words of Plutarch, a Greek historian. Such words require deep reflection in our society… For years we have set up fixed academic pathways for our children, neglecting their natural talents or inner passions. Our intention has always been that our children should stand out from the crowd; but at the same time, we want them to learn what everyone else is learning, we desire for them to conform. Why? It is incontrovertible to appreciate that in today’s rapidly evolving and competitive workforce, conformance is envisaged to have no role to play. The future is much more. The future is the ability to be different- to stand out from the crowd. This is where Preston International Academy comes into play. Preston with its vision to create future identities promises a competitive advantage to its students. It is created with the purpose of delivering an exceptional quality of education and to nurture the talents of prospective students while also supporting students’ passions at the same time. Preston thus provides a platform to turn academic dreams into envisioned realities. Preston’s core values are centered on Respect, Relationships, and Responsibilities. This creates a strong culture of leadership through teamwork and learning. Knowledge - Our efforts will be on guaranteeing support and necessities to our youngest learners allowing them to be stars in school. We will do so through interactive learning processes and proactive learnings. Building Capacities - A key focus during the early years will be on increasing the teaching capacity of teachers and the learning capacity of students. Modern means of learning through technological mediums will be incorporated in the teaching methods, thus allowing our students to come face to face with the latest developments. Student and staff wellbeing – One of the key challenges would be to keep our students and academic staff as happy and satisfied as possible. Various programs will be introduced to ensure highest student and teacher wellbeing. Engagement with parents – Our system is designed to also engage parents in multiple latitudes. To ensure the school’s performance, the Preston team would closely liaise with them on every step of nurturing their children. We at Preston believe that India as a society has to stand together as one to overcome race, religion, and language barriers in order to excel and compete with the most developed economies. It’s going to be quite a fun filled journey. Use every opportunity to enjoy the varied facilities that are available. Let’s break free from the confines of conventional academics and experience learning as a wonderful journey! To the Parents, “I want to reassure you that Preston International Academy offers holistic education which will play an important role in shaping the character of our children.” We at Preston believe that education should not only fulfil the literary needs but also help one attain high levels of physical wellness and morality. Our children possess the necessary potential and have the opportunity to make tremendous contribution, not only through their careers but also towards building a better society. My vision for the school is to impart education in a manner so as to instill in my students Courage, Integrity, Honesty, Character and above all a desire to seek knowledge. I hope to blend tradition with Modernity, Convention with Innovation, Challenge intellect and prepare my students for the rigors of life.
