Dear Parents, Guardians, teachers and students Greetings!! “The heart of education is the education of the heart” With this belief The Lawrence and Mayo family is nurturing the young minds of Kota for the past 30 years. The competition of thirty years is a major milestone in the life of a school. Every incredible journey faces hurdles in the beginning but incessant and determined efforts takes it to heights. I am delighted to witness this successful accomplishment of the 30th year of Lawrence and Mayo Public School. We are pleased to present you the Silver Jubilee issue of ‘Reflections’ the school magazine that brings up an invigorate collection of the events and achievements of the institution. Lawrence and Mayo Public School is one of the leading and admirable schools in Kota imparting quality education and has proved itself to be an effective and successful organization where thoughts and their execution is out of the box. Aristotle once said that “Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.” Formal education is necessary but cultivating wisdom and awareness create authentic human beings. Here, we as educators need to rethink to instill the moral values in the hearts of our students and develop them into critical thinkers and life-long learners who can match the advanced technology pursuing world also. Our children are the assets of this nation who will contribute to revive and boost the glory, economy and social system for making their nation a powerful country. There is no exaggeration in mentioning that in Lawrence And Mayo Public School students are treated with due respect, a sense of discipline and responsibility so that they can return the same to the society. I congratulate the Editorial Board on its tireless efforts in bringing out this publication of the school magazine ‘Reflections’. I also extend my sincere thanks to the parents, students and teachers who have contributed to glorify the Silver Jubilee issue of the school magazine. I firmly believe that with the blessings of the Almighty and with the combined effort of all Lawrence And Mayo family members our school will grow further in the approaching years. “The woods are lonely, dark and deep, But I have promises to keep And miles to go before I sleep”
