The Radiant Way School

The year 1988 opened up a new admirable chapter in the education scene of Raipur city. This was the time, nearly 25 years back when that morning The Radiant Sun raised, it started paving a radiant path for the school going children of the city. This was the year when late Mrs. Shirin Dube founded a nursery and LKG school with only 11 students. This school was named The Radiant Way School, the number of students raised to 42 in very next year. This school was opened by Shirin Ji at Doongaji Colony just near her residence for which a four room building was used to accommodate the school. This proved to be an encouraging response to Shirin Ji. As such the school was made a primary school from the year 1995 when class one was started in the school after a long consideration and persuasion from the children’s parents. Mrs. Shirin Dube belonged to one of the most affluent, cultured, and reputed family of the city. Secondly she was married to an academician, Shri Mangal Dube who also came from a very reputed family and working as a Professor in the Raipur Engineering College. But she and one of her friend Mrs. Deepali Kale were of the idea that though the city of Raipur has several institutions offering school education, they felt that there is a need of providing the highest level of education in affordable expenses. "WE STRIVE FOR EXCELLENCE" has been the motto of this school since it was founded. This school is run by Shri Mangal Dube Memorial Education Society named after late Professor Mangal Dube who himself was an educator of repute. He worked as professor of Applied Geology at Government College of Engineering and Technology, Raipur.
