Founded in 1997 as a dream by its founder Chairperson Smt. Jaya Singh, Bal Bharati School has become one of the most prestigious educational institutions of Rewa Division. It is a Private not-for-profit school run by the Late Smt. Gayatri Devi Smriti Shiksha Samiti, Rewa. Bal Bharati School is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), which is the largest educational board in the country. It is recognized by the Department of Education, Govt. of MP and the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. Over 5000 schools in India, with over 80,000 students, are members of the Board. The school is also affiliated to the Sahodaya Conference and Private Un-aided Schools Welfare Society. The members of these organisations include some of the premier schools in MP. The School is housed in four blocks A, B C & D. A block has the administrative offices on the ground floor with art & music rooms on the first floor and classrooms on the second floor. B Block has classrooms along with a well-stocked library and reading room, it also has a well-appointed staff room, a music room and an indoor games room. The C Block comprises mainly of the Chemistry Lab, the Physics Lab and the Biology Lab on ground, first and second floor respectively, it has a 50 terminal fully networked computer lab also. It houses the latest addition and a pride to our school the NIIT e-guru Maths Lab, which has the latest equipments and manipulatives. The D Block houses the pre- primary and primary classes. In addition there is fully equipped computer lab and an Indoor conference cum lecture theater with a sitting capacity of 300 people. Overall there are 68 rooms and 76 toilet/urinal facilities within the school campus. It has its own borewells for providing fresh water to the students. The drinking water taps are fitted with filtration systems to ensure clean and safe drinking water. The school has its own handball ground, a basketball ground and a kho-kho track within the campus, which ensures good physical workout to the students along-with academics.
