I am a graduate Engineer with a MBA from prestigious XLRI, Jamshedpur. My interests include traveling, adventure sports, chess and keeping mind and body fit. It is not easy joining a new school, however joining Oakridge is a unique experience. This year particularly was a challenge for us in terms of new students joining the Virtual School Environment. Given the warmth of interaction of our teachers and students, all the new students settled well into the new school year. Each year our graduating batch of boarding students miss the boarding life of camaraderie, social life, good food and academic rigour when they leave the school. Many of our boarding alumni often visit the school by arrangement to refresh their memories of good times spent on campus. The school offers the national curriculum (CBSE) as well as international curriculums like Cambridge International and International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). Currently Oakridge Visakhapatnam is the only school in the state to offer the IB Diploma. We have many students who score above 90% in CBSE Grade 12 examinations with the school average score being 80%. We also have students who achieve their full potential by graduating high school to secure good admissions in reputed universities. Many of our top students go to world’s best universities either within Indian or abroad. This year our students got 100% IGCSE certificates with 80% of them scoring A* to C in IGCSE subjects. Our first batch of IBDP students will write their examinations in May 2022, we are committed to enable them to score well to achieve their dream of securing good college admissions.
