The Kotak Education Foundation (KEF), CSR arm of Kotak Mahindra Group, has been approved to implement its Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) program across all 516 PM SHRI schools in Maharashtra. The program, now in its second year, initially launched in 65 Mumbai schools. Led by Dr. Ganesh Raja, CEO of KEF, the initiative focuses on cognitive development and 21st-century skills, emphasizing conceptual understanding and practical application. It supports teachers through workshops, hands-on assistance, and ongoing mentoring to enhance their capacity in teaching FLN skills effectively. Utilizing interactive methods, worksheets, and educational games, the project aims to ensure universal literacy and numeracy, fostering well-rounded learning competencies in students.
