The AICTE and C-DAC have introduced a Master Training Programme in High-Performance Computing (HPC) to cultivate skilled trainers in this crucial field. Open to candidates proficient in C programming and Linux, the program mandates participation in Faculty Development Programmes starting April 2024. The application deadline is January 20, 2024. The comprehensive training, beginning on January 29, 2024, encompasses one week online and two weeks offline, covering topics such as HPC basics, computer architecture, Linux, shell scripting, parallel programming models, and CUDA. Offline sessions are scheduled in Pune (Feb 5-16, 2024) and Bengaluru (Feb 12-23, 2024). The program concludes with a certification test. This initiative aims to bolster HPC expertise for broader applications in educational and research settings.
