Tripti Bhatt, an IPS officer from AlmoraUttarakhand, exemplifies determination and commitment in her journey towards serving the nation. Initially an engineer at NTPC, she rejected 16 government job offers, including one from ISRO, to pursue her dream of becoming an IAS, IPS, or IFS officer. Tripticleared the UPSC Civil Services Examination in 2013 on her first attempt, securing the 165th rank. Her journey in the police force includes roles as SP in Dehradun and Chamoli, and Commander of SDRF in TehriGarhwal. Currently, she holds the position of SP Intelligence and Security in Dehradun. Tripti, also a sports enthusiast, has won gold medals in marathons and state-level badminton competitions. A practitioner of Taekwondo and Karate, Tripti Bhatt stands as a symbol of dedication and resilience in public service. Tripti's intelligence and dedication were evident early on when she met the late President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam in grade 9, who handed her a handwritten letter inspiring her commitment to serving the nation. Successfully clearing the UPSC Civil Services Examination in 2013 on her first attempt, she secured the 165th rank, opting for the IPS position and getting allocated her home cadre.
