The 24th Annual Day was celebrated in Little Kingdom School, Tirupur in two phases (Senior and Junior school )in our school. The chief guests were Dr. A Velumani, P.HD Creator, Thyrocare and Dr. Sivaramam, BAMS, P.HD. The other dignitaries present on the dais were the Founder and Senior Principal Dr.Hema Devarajan, the correspondent and Deepam Trust member Mr.P.Devarjan, Managing Trustee of Deepam Trust Mr. J Ranganathan, Trust members Shrimathi.Thayammal, ShrimathiBhagyalakshmi and Mr. P. Mohandas The school usually goes with a theme for the annual day and this year’s theme was Mighty Millets and Unity in Diversity. Each class was given a state or a Union territory and the whole year they learnt about the importance of the state from the government to the monuments, the food, the culture, the festivals and during the annual day they showcased their given state’s specialty through dances and drama. The performance was electrifying and the students put up a colourful show which was a treat to our eyes. From the welcome address to the vote of thanks and the compeering was done by the students. Both the chief guest gave great insights on how to lead a healthy life. Dr. Sivaraman insisted on substituting millets to rice and wheat and to exercise enough to be hale and healthy. Also he advised the students to avoid be junk eaters and eat right to have a healthy mind. Dr.Velumani A insisted to stay focused to achieve anything great in life. His life story was a great inspiration to many of us who said “Do what your mind says and you’ll achieve great heights”. The four things which he said to always have was FOCUS, LEARN,GROWand ENJOY. Both the annual days saw great performances and also we could see so many students who were slowly becoming great leaders by the way they presented their welcome speech, their compeering and the way they showcased their talents.
