About the Founder Live Life Education

Dr. Kannan Gireesh, CEO of Live Life Education Pvt. Ltd. is a renowned psychiatrist globally recognised for his work on childhood behavioural disorders. Motivated by a tragic incident involving a young ADHD patient’s suicide, he founded Live Life Education intending to provide a healthy, happy and successful future for the youth and contribute to national development. He started his journey with just one child in his clinic, and now he has impacted the lives of 57,000 youths across the nation. Dr Gireesh serves on the advisory board of prestigious universities and collaborates with the government to innovate education models. He’s also a prolific writer for The New Indian Express.

Awards

Dr. Gireesh has received several prestigious awards for his significant contributions. In April 2017, he was honoured with the 'AWARD OF EXCELLENCE' by the late President of India, Pranab Mukherjee.

He was felicitated by the Minister for School Education, Government of Tamil Nadu, K. A. Sengottaiyan, in July 2017, during the 100th birth centenary celebration of M G Ramachandran. The Round Table of India honoured him with ‘THE PRIDE OF TAMILNADU 2017’ title as an emerging ‘Achiever’ in the field of education.

In October 2016, he received the Times of India's EDUICON AWARD 2016’ for his pioneering efforts in addressing students-related issues and creating impactful positive change in the education landscape of Tamil Nadu. He also received the ‘Edupreneur Award 2015’ from the Times of India.

Life-transforming leadership program for schools 

Live Life Education collaborates with Franklin Covey Education as their Indian international partner to offer the 'Leader in Me' (LiM) program. This evidence-based school improvement model equips students with essential leadership and life skills for the 21 st century. The LiM program offers a well- defined online curriculum and a rich pool of resources that are efficiently utilised by partnering schools across India. Leader in Me is supported by the paradigm that every child has unique skills and capabilities and that the purpose of education is to develop the whole child. The program aims at bringing out the best through training, coaching, materials, and culture-transformation processes thus helping every child evolve into a leader in his own right. The program empowers every student to become a leader, fostering adaptability and resilience in today's dynamic world.
