The Kusuma School of Biological Sciences at IIT Delhi has introduced a new academic initiative – an MSc programme in Biological Sciences, scheduled to commence in the academic year 2024-25. Admissions to this two-year master's programme will be based on the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM 2024), offering a total of 20 seats. IIT Delhi stands as a notable example of an academic environment fostering interdisciplinary approaches to address scientific queries. With over 30 academic entities across various scientific and engineering domains, the collaborative atmosphere within these units cultivates an ideal ecosystem for nurturing conceptual understanding and modern interdisciplinary biology education. Professor Bishwajit Kundu, Head of the Kusuma School of Biological Sciences at IIT Delhi, expressed, "This programme is a highly selective opportunity for bright, enthusiastic students who wish to study interdisciplinary biology at the postgraduate level."
