The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu, in collaboration with the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), has launched the Skill to Enterprise Module (STEM) program. This one-year initiative targets students in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, aiming to equip them with the knowledge and resources to initiate and expand their businesses. The program offers a blend of residential and virtual training, covering various aspects of business management. It provides mentorship, incubation support, and access to financial institutions, with the goal of fostering entrepreneurship and economic growth in the region. The program inauguration featured distinguished guests such as SIDBI Deputy General Managers Subhransu S Acharya and Rishi Pandey, IIM Jammu Director BS Sahay, and CEISD Chairperson Muqbil Burhan, highlighting the commitment of both institutions to fostering entrepreneurship and economic development in the region.
