The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a warning to students and teachers regarding numerous fake social media handles impersonating the board. In an official statement, CBSE shared a list of these fake handles and advised stakeholders to only follow the official CBSE handle. The board emphasized that appropriate action will be taken against the mentioned fake handles. CBSE cautioned the public to rely solely on the official CBSE handle (@cbseindia29 on X, formerly Twitter) for verified and authentic information. The notice states that CBSE will not be liable for any information provided by unauthorized sources using the CBSE name and logo on social media platforms. This warning coincides with the upcoming board exams for classes 10 and 12, scheduled to begin on February 15. Class 12 exams will take place from February 15 to April 2, 2024, while class 10 exams will be held from February 15 to March 13, 2024.
