EducationToday’s Maharashtra School Merit Awards 2023-24 was recently hosted at The Lalit, Mumbai on October 4, 2023. The top schools in Maharashtra were awarded in the grand event.

We recently conducted the Maharashtra Educator’s Summit 2023 & Maharashtra School Merit Awards 2023-24 at The Lalit, Mumbai on October 4, 2023. The event was a gala ceremony, witnessing the attendance of the top educationists in India all under one roof. The top schools in Maharashtra were awarded for their impeccable service in the education sector. The schools included the top schools in Mumbai and other regions of Maharashtra.

Top Schools in Maharashtra - CBSE

This year, 22 schools from across the country were among Maharashtra’s Top 20 CBSE Schools. These were the best schools in Maharashtra based on our perception-based survey and analysis. Some schools outperformed equally, thus leading to a tie in the ranks.

Finding the Top Schools in Maharashtra – The process

Our mission is to find the best schools in Maharashtra  and encourage them for their efforts. We at EducationToday made a perception-based ranking system for schools, one with utmost transparency. This system includes a thorough analysis of the inputs from the survey forms received, analysis from the survey team, parental votes and special jury inputs. As expected, this was a huge challenge owing to the diverse number of schools in Maharashtra, all the way from Aanganwadis to the elitist of private institutions, each with countless variations. Some are funded by the centre, others by the state, and still more get direct funding from industrialists, NGOs and the like. Then all the education boards have to be taken into consideration – CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE, IB plus an overwhelming number of state boards.
