Q. Could you provide us with a brief Overview of Professional Background and Areas of Expertise?

My professional journey is deeply intertwined with the collective efforts of the dedicated individuals within our institution. Serving as the President of Manik Education Society is a shared privilege with the exceptional teachers, students, and well-wishers who form the backbone of our organization. Together, we strive to blend ancient Indian wisdom with contemporary pedagogical practices, fostering holistic growth among our students. It's important to acknowledge the visionary efforts of our founder, Shri Siddharaj Manik Prabhu Maharaj, who brought modern education within the reach of the rural and semi-urban populace of northern Karnataka, making it the first school of its kind in the region.

Q. Could you highlight some of your key accomplishments in the field of education?

The school's emphasis on cultural values has led to alumni who excel both nationally and globally, embodying the essence of Indian traditions. Our deep-rooted connection to Indian ethos and philosophy sets us apart. Situated in the culturally rich Maniknagar, the abode of the famous saint Shri Sadguru Manik Prabhu Maharaj, our location enhances our unique offering. Here, amidst historical significance, we instill strong Indian values, making us unlike any other boarding school in the country.

Q. What impactful changes or innovations have you implemented in the education segment, and what further advancements would you like to see or implement in the field of education?

At Manik Public School, we redefine education by seamlessly blending Ancient Indian traditions with modern educational methods. Our innovative approach integrates technology and personalized learning paths to cater to each student's unique potential, thereby transforming the educational experience. With a focus on approachability and empathy under my leadership, we cultivate an environment where student voices are valued. Embodying the philosophy of "तेजस्विनावधीतमस्तु," meaning "Let what we have acquired be radiant," we nurture self-confidence and positivity, fostering an inclusive atmosphere for learning and growth. Our goal is to cultivate a sense of pride in our students' Indian heritage while preparing them for the future.

Q. What advice can you give emerging education professionals/ fellow educators regarding essential leadership qualities in the field?

To my fellow educators and emerging professionals in the field, I emphasize the importance of adopting a holistic approach to education. Leadership in education transcends academic instruction; it requires nurturing an environment where intellectual, spiritual, and personal growth can flourish. Embrace empathy-listen to your students, understand their needs, and empower them. Cultivate a culture of innovation, where traditional wisdom meets modern insight, to prepare students not just for the challenges of today but for the opportunities of tomorrow. Finally, remain committed to lifelong learning-both for yourself and in instilling this mindset among your students.
