Delhi Women and Child Development Minister Atishi conducted an inspection of a centralised kitchen in South Delhi, serving nutritious meals to over eight lakh women and children in anganwadis daily. The kitchen, equipped with modern machinery, prepares and packages meals according to the daily menu, delivering them to 775 anganwadis. The initiative aims to provide better nutrition to children aged six months to three years, pregnant women, and lactating mothers, promoting their physical and mental development. The kitchen also prepares 'Take-Home Rations' for children and women. Strict adherence to cleanliness regulations is maintained, ensuring hygiene and quality of the food.
