National Law University (NLU) Delhi announced on Wednesday that students who have been admitted provisionally in BA LLB (Hons) programme will have to pay the complete fee by April 30. If students fail to submit the balance fee amount, their admission will be cancelled and the seat will be offered to the next candidate on the AILET 2024 merit list.  NLU Delhi is conducting admission to BA LLB on the basis of the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET 2024) score. It has updated the balance fee amount on each candidate’s login account. The information is necessary for the hostel allotment process. Students had to pay Rs 50,000 while accepting admission into BBA LLB (Hons) of NLU Delhi. They will have to submit Rs 2,47,000for 2024-25 session. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC and PWD categories will have to pay Rs 20,000 less.  They will also have to update and verify their present and permanent address, the institute said. Students will have to provide valid documents such as Aadhaar card, voter ID card and passport for address verification. NLU Delhi has said that only new students who have their residence outside Delhi-NCR will be considered for hostel allotment. “The university will not be able to provide hostel facilities to the newly admitted students of BA LLB Hons programme from Delhi-NCR due to paucity of rooms in the hostel,” it added.
