The Indian government, led by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, is taking steps to promote formal Vedic education in the country. They have established MaharshiSandipani Rashtriya Veda Sanskrit ShikhshaBoard (MSRVSSB) in Ujjain and plan to set up five regional centers in the north-east to further this objective. Currently, there are 123 traditional Vedic schools with thousands of students and teachers across the country. Additionally, six Rashtriya Adarsh Veda Vidyalayas have been established in six states. The government aims to spread Vedic knowledge among the people, offering courses on the four Vedas and other subjects. This initiative reflects a commitment to preserve India's rich cultural heritage and promote Vedic education nationwide.
