Sona College of Technology, Salem, Tamil Nadu, has been accredited with NAAC A++, the highest grade granted by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), an autonomous body of the University Grants Commission. The college secured a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.65. The NAAC A++ grade was awarded to Sona College of Technology following comprehensive assessments by a team of academicians and education administrators nominated by NAAC. The evaluation covered various aspects, including curriculum, teaching, and learning; research, innovation, and extension; infrastructure and learning resources; student support and progression; governance, leadership, and management; and institutional values. The evaluation team also met with parents, alumni, faculty, and employers recruiting Sonagraduates during their visit.
