Kurukshetra University has postponed the undergraduate and postgraduate exams scheduled for July 14. On Monday the university informed the postponement of all exams for UG, PG and engineering courses till July 13 in view of the incessant rainfall in Haryana.  The Haryana government today said, “In view of the torrential rains and water-logging in many districts of the state, Kurukshetra University has also postponed its UG, PG examinations scheduled for July 14. Earlier, KU had issued an order to postpone the examinations till 13th July.” Several students who enrolled in distance mode were informed about the postponement just two hours before the commencement of the exam. Kurukshetra University controller of examination Hukam Singh in a notice said on June 10, “Many roads have been blocked due to heavy rains, due to which the candidates may face many problems while reaching the examination centre. Therefore, keeping in mind the interests of the students, it has been decided to postpone these examinations”.However, the entrance examinations for admission will be conducted as per the schedule, it said earlier.
