The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) conducted a special camp with 647 second-year undergraduate volunteers participating in various activities related to agriculture, animal husbandry, and horticulture. The camp took place in villages across Coimbatore district, including MadampattiPooluvapattiAalanthuraiDevirayapuramNarasipalayam, and Vellimalaippattinam. The NSS volunteers, along with student representatives and program officers, facilitated technology demonstrations and engaged in community development initiatives during the camp. The program aimed at fostering personality development, societal awareness, health services, and the dissemination of agricultural technologies. TNAU, recognized as the 5th among 152 agricultural institutions in the country, holds the 93rd position out of 2,478 institutions overall.
