Private, unaided schools in Delhi are set to release their first lists for pre-school (Nursery), pre-primary (Kindergarten), and Class 1 admissions on January 1. Parents and guardians can check the Delhi Nursery admission 2024-25 first merit lists on the official websites of the respective schools. The Directorate of Education (DoE), Delhi, mentioned the release date of the first merit list in the admission schedule. The resolution of queries from parents regarding point allotment will take place between January 13 and 22. The second list is scheduled for release on January 29, with subsequent lists, if required, on February 2. The admission process for nursery classes in Delhi for the 2024-25 academic year will conclude on March 8. Eligibility criteria include children not exceeding three years of age for Nursery, four years for Kindergarten, and five years for Class 1 as of March 31, 2024. The Directorate has set a non-refundable admission registration fee of ₹25 and noted that the purchase of a prospectus is optional. Additionally, 25% of seats in private and unaided schools are reserved for applicants in the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Disadvantaged Group (DG) categories, with a separate process for their admission.
